Lady Spartans Top Post, 8-1

The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat Post University, 8-1 in yesterday afternoon's match.  The Lady Spartans won all three doubles matches and five out of six in singles.  Alison Reeg and Danielle Bicknell won the top flight doubles match, followed by the strong play of Kristen Schimpf and Christine Patruno in the second flight.  Valerie Massaro and freshman Erin Maher teamed up for an 8-0 victory in third doubles.

Reeg, Schimpf and Bicknell also picked up wins in their singles matches along with freshman Jayden Brignola and senior Sarah Hughes.  The Lady Spartans will play their final home match of the season on Thursday as they host Georgian Court.  STAC will honor their two seniors; Alison Reeg and Sarah Hughes, for all of their hard work in a short ceremony before the match.
