Lady Spartans Edge C.W. Post, 5-4 on Senior Day

The St. Thomas Aquinas women's tennis team beat visiting C.W. Post in yesterday afternoon's ECC match.  The Lady Spartans honored their two seniors; Alison Reeg and Sarah Hughes prior to the match.  Reeg lost her match playing in the top doubles and singles spot while Hughes stepped up and won her singles match, 6-1, 6-2 to give STAC the 5-4 edge over the Pioneers.

Christine Patruno and Kristen Schimpf had a big win in the second doubles flight to help St. Thomas secure the win.  The Lady Spartans are 7-4 overall which is two wins better then last season and one of their best seasons all time.  STAC will play at Ramapo today at 3:00 PM to complete their fall schedule.
