STAC Women Defeat Concordia
On a day when the 2 seniors were honored, the STAC Women's Soccer Team played a great game with a 4 - 0 victory over ECC rival Concordia College of Bronxville, NY. Seniors Kim Griffin and Evana Fiore, both scored goals to show Coach Moroni just how much they will be missed next year. Griffin, the all-time STAC scoring leader, registered 2 goals and an assist on the afternoon. Her fellow senior Fiore, scored as well, banging in a direct kick from 25 yards out. Freshman Samantha Lopez added STAC's other goal while goalie Jeanette Gibson recorded the shutout with 4 saves.
The Spartans finish the season when they travel to Bloomfield
College on Monday for a 3:00pm game.
