Lady Spartans Drop Home Opener

The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team lost to Wilmington University, 18-4 in yesterday's home opener.  The Lady Spartans received two goals each from Maryanne Kugler and Lindsey Lawless.   Jen Kugler recorded nineteen saves for the Lady Spartans.

Wilmington was led by Danielle Nicolli who scored six goals while adding an assist.  Samantha Jewel and Mary Sing added four goals each for the Wildcats.  Amber Smith notched eight saves for Wilmington.

STAC will return to action on March 26th when they travel to the University of New Haven.  Game time is slated for 4:30 PM.
