Lady Spartan Trio Compete at Empire State Games

St. Thomas Aquinas women's basketball players, Theresa Dowling, Briana Sloper and Kim Vareles were selected to play for the Long Island Empire State Team which competed last week in Buffalo, NY.  The team fell short in the Bronze Medal Game finishing 2-2 for the week.  Sloper averaged 14 ppg for the week including a high of 22 in their win over Hudson Valley.
