Briana Sloper Earns Rookie of the Week

Freshman Briana Sloper was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week.  Sloper averaged thirteen points and nine rebounds last week including ten points and ten rebounds in the Lady Spartans victory over Concordia.  Sloper recorded fifteen points and ten rebounds in a tough loss to Adelphi earlier in the week and was the high scorer with sixteen points against Mercy College.  Sloper leads STAC in rebounding with six a game and is second in scoring, averaging eleven points per game.
