STAC Women Defeat NYIT, 78 - 61
A quartet of Spartans scored in double figures as STAC built a 21 point halftime lead and held on to defeat NYIT by the score of 78 - 61 in an ECC contest. The STAC team was led in scoring by senior Takiyah Ingram witrh 22 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Junior center Corinne Albrecht scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while teammates junior Claire Wilson with 14 points, 7 rebounds and senior Erika Ostrove with 11 points also contributed to the win. The win brings the women's record to 4 & 2 overall and 2 & 0 in the ECC.
They return to action next Saturday when they host Wilmington
College (DE) at 1:00pm
