Lady Spartans Top Bridgeport, 60 -57

Claire Wilson' s 18 points including 4 for 5 from the 3 point arc led 4 double digit Lady Spartan scorers over the University of Bridgeport, 60 - 57. Corinne Albrecht added 13 points while the guard tandem of Eriks Ostrove and Takiyah Ingram each tallied 11 points in the win.

Ingram scored on an old fashion  3 point play in the last 25 seconds to seal the victory after Wilson's 3 point shooting brought the Lady Spartans back from a 5 point deficit with 4:34 left in the game. Wilson was 3 for 3 from beyond the arc and 2 for 2 from the free throw line in the last 4 and 1/2 minutes of the game.

 After the Christmas break, the women return to action on December 29 when they travel to the Pace Holiday Classic in Pleasantville to face Southern Hew Hampshire University at 1:00pm.
