STAC Women Overcome 20 Point Deficit To Top New Haven, 77 - 73

Erika Ostrove's 23 points led 5 Lady Spartan double digit scorers in victory over New Haven, 77 - 73. Takiyah Ingram (16 points), Claire Wilson (13 points), Kayla Waite (12 points) and Raven Brinkley (10 points) added to the comeback. The Chargers took a 20 point lead with the score 38 -18  in the 1st half only to see it cut to 9 points at the intermission.

This was the biggest comeback in Lady Spartan Basketball history. The previous greatest comeback was from a 17 point deficit against Carson Newman University in 1987.

New Haven's Ashley Hilton led all scorers with 25 points while her teammate Lauren Hood added 10 points.

The win brings the STAC record to 8 & 8 overall and 7 & 2 in the ECC.

The women return to action on Saturday when they travel to Bronxville to take on Concordia College.
