Army Women Hammer the Lady Spartans, 87 -48

The STAC women's basketball team travelled to West Point on Wednesday night to take on the NCAA Division I Army Lady Knights. It was a humbling experience for the Lady Spartans as they dropped an 87 - 48 decision to the Army women. THe Army women are the defending Patriot League Champions and 2006 NCAA Tournament participants

Erin Kilduff, Takiyah Ingram and Raven Brinkley each scored 10 points for the STAC women.  Alex McGuire scored 11 points and 2006 PatriotLeague Player of the Year Cara Enright scored 19 points for the Lady Cadets.

The women of STAC return to action on Sunday when they travell to Merrimack College (MA) for the Northeast 10 - ECC Challenge game at 1:00pm.
