The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to the University of Bridgeport, 7-1 and 5-1.  Katie Meyers hit an RBI Sac Fly in the 7th inning to score STAC's only run.  In game two, Lauren Navarro hit an RBI double in the 7th to score Michelle Sasso.

Morgan Dunn went 5-for-6 for Bridgeport with 4 runs and 2 RBI for the day.  Tiffany Irrera and Taylor Hendrickson earned the wins on the mound for the Purple Knights.   

Maura Power pitched 4.1 innings striking out 3 batters in the loss.  Meyers went 4 innings in game two, striking out 1 batter and yeilding 3 runs.  The Lady Spartans will play at Queens on Tuesday.
