Philadelphia Beats Lady Spartans, 12-3 and 5-4

The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost at Philadelphia University, 12-3 and 5-4 this afternoon.  Heather Clausen went 3-for-7 for the day with 2 RBI and a homerun.  Sharis Ruiz went 2-for-5 for the day with 2 RBI and a run. 

ToniAnn Gorth was 2-for-6 with a home run in game one and an RBI double in the second game.  In game two, Clausen's homerun gave STAC a 4-3 lead in the 5th however Philadelphia was able to add runs in the 7th and 8th to earn the win. 

The Lady Spartans will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to NYIT.
