Spartans Drop Two at Queens

The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost at Queens, 6-1 & 9-3.  Heather Clausen went 3-for-6 with a run and a RBI for STAC.  The Lady Spartans were limited to just two hits in the first game.  Jamie McCormick went 2-for-3 in game two.

Clausen hit a home run in game two to put STAC on the scoreboard.  The Lady Spartans added two more late runs in the 6th inning but it was not enough to close the gap.  Megan Sweezy and Maura Power each picked up a loss on the mound for STAC.

The Lady Spartans will return to action on Thursday when the face Molloy College.
