Lady Spartans Fall to Queens

The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost to Queens College, 10-0 and 4-2.  Today's game represented senior day for the Lady Spartan senior Angela Squillini.  Joy Ferriello and Sharis Ruiz each had two hits for the day.  Heather Clausen hit a 2-run homer in game two for STAC.

Clausen scored STAC's two runs of the day in the sixth inning to bring the Lady Spartans within two, 4-2.  Maura Power and Samantha Welsh each had a loss on the mound for STAC.  STAC will be back in action tomorrow as they host Dowling College at 3:00 PM.
