The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team dropped both games of Sunday's doubleheader against CW Post, 15-6 and 13-0.  Joy Ferriello had a grand slam in the fifth inning plating four of the Lady Spartans six runs.  In the fourth inning, Angelina Squillini singled up the middle scoring two for STAC and putting them on the board, 7-2.

The Pioneers led off the game with two runs in the first inning and then added five in the forth and finished with another eight runs in the fifth to keep the Lady Spartans out of reach.  Ferriello had two hits for the game to go along with her four RBI's.  Jess Rickle added one hit and was able to reach home on Squillini's single. 

In the second game of the day CW Post continued to hit the ball well shutting out STAC 13-0.  Ferriello and Rickle each had two hits along with Heather Clausen's one but the Lady Spartans struggled to get on the board. 

STAC will return to action today as they face Holy Family at 1:00PM.
