Softball Drops Doubleheader At NYIT
The STAC softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader at NYIT Tuesday afternoon by the scores of 4 - 1 and 5 - 0. Senior pitcher Andrea Martorelli took the loss in game 1 while junior Shannon Donohoe was the victim of silent bats in the nightcap. The Lady Spartans were held to 5 hits in 2 games.
The losses bring the women's record to 8 - 16, overall and 3 - 5 in the ECC.
They return to action on Wednesday when they host Wilmington
College (DE) in a doubleheader at Spartan Field starting at
3:00pm
