Spartans Top Caldwell, 6-3
The St. Thomas Aquinas men's tennis team picked up their first win on the courts this spring against Caldwell College. The Spartans won all three of their doubles matches led by Edward Reiter and Jon Iliev who took the top flight with an 8-6 victory. Mike Antolini and Carl Johnson won 8-6 in the second doubles flight while Paul Schuman and Jerone Dunbar earned an 8-4 victory in the third flight.
Mike Antolini picked a 6-1, 6-4 win in the singles second flight. Paul Schuman and Jerone Dunbar also won playing in the fifth and sixth singles match. The Spartans will return to action on Wednesday when they face Queens College.
