Spartans Drop Close Match to Bloomfield, 5-4

The St. Thomas Aquinas men's tennis team dropped a tough 5-4 match to visiting Bloomfield on Friday.  The Spartans Carl Johnson and Mike Antolini picked up the lone double win beating Bloomfield 8-1 in the second seed.  Antolini went on to win in the second singles flight with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Evan McCall.  Paul Schuman and Jerone Dunbar also added victories in the fifth and sixth singles matches.  Schuman won 10-8 while Dunbar picked up a 2-6, 6-3, 8-5 win.
