Hausner, Jones, Ocampo Lead STAC to 4 - 0 Win
Lukasz Hausner, Gerald Jones and Steven Ocampo led the STAC Spartan Soccer Team to a 4 - 0 win over Goldey Beacom College of Delaware. Hausner with a goal and 3 assists combined with Jone's 2 goals and Ocampo's game winning score to lead STAC.
The Spartans took a 2 - 0 lead into the halftime break from Ocampo's score 14:43 minutes into the game followed by Jones at the 43:55 mark. The second half was more of the same as Hausner scored on a penalty kick and Jones scored with 5 minutes left in the match for the STAC men. Spartan goalkeeper Michael Chappas had 1 save in recording his 1st shutout at STAC.
The win evens the STAC record at 5 - 5 - 2 overall on the
season. Coach Graham Brown's charges return to action on Saturday
when they host the University of New Haven at 2:00pm at Nardi
Soccer Complex in North Rockland.
