3 STAC Basketball Players Named To ECC All-Conference Teams

Lady Spartan Takiyah Ingram was named to the ECC All-Conference 1st team for the 2007-08 season while Spartans Akeem Comas and Ra Chase were named to the All-ECC 2nd team as release by the conference this week.

Ingram, the STAC women's leading scorer, averages 16.9ppg, 5.7rpg and 3.5steals per game. She leads the conference and the NE Region is steals per game average. She will graduate in May with a degree in Social Science.

Comas and Chase are presently leading the Spartans to their best season since joining the NCAA. On Saturday they will play in the ECC Semi-Finals at Queens College against the #1 seed, C.W. Post. The Spartans upset the nationally ranked Pioneers earlier in the season.
