Golfers Finish 4th at Spring Invitational

The St. Thomas Aquinas Men’s golf team opened up the spring season with a 4^th place finish at their annual Spring Invitational at Rum Pointe Golf Links in Berlin, Maryland. The Spartans battled difficult conditions, facing 35 degree temperatures and winds gusting to 50mph. Patrick Schwarze was one of 9 players to break 80 posting a 79 good for 9^th place in a field of strong players. Jordan Perretz finished with an 82 while Tommy Fioramonti and Sean Campbell shot 84 and 85 respectfully. The Spartans maintained their # 1 ranking in the Northeast region and look to continue their strong play next week at the Goldey-Beacom Spring Tournament at Hartefeld National Golf Club in Avondale, Pennsylvania.
