The St. Thomas Aquinas College baseball team has moved up in a pair of regional rankings after taking two of three games against Wilmington University to start the 2013 season.
In the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association pre-season poll, Wilmington was ranked #4 in the east with STAC starting at #7, but the teams flipped slots this week off the Spartans' strong performance. The website d2baseballnews.com also weighed in, with St. Thomas Aquinas currently occupying the #5 position.
STAC returns to action this Friday, March 1, when they take on Nyack College, followed by the Home Opening double-header - also against Nyack - slated for Saturday, March 2 at Provident Bank Park.
