On Wednesday, August 24th, the Rockland Boulders will host Spartan Athletics Day at Provident Bank Park. The day is set to announce the Spartan baseball teams home spring schedule of 28 games all to be played at the new State of the Art Stadium. President of St. Thomas Aquinas, Dr. Margaret Fitzpatrick, will kick off the festivities by throwing out the first pitch.
The baseball team and staff will join Dr. Fitzpatrick on the field, showing their excitement over the agreement made in early July to make this their new home field. The Boulders will host the Brockton Rocks from Brockton, MA. that evening.
Former Spartan baseball player John Muller, pitcher for the Boulders, will be signing autographs along with some of the Spartan baseball players on the main concourse at approximately 6:30 p.m. The front gates will open at 6:00 p.m. and the game will begin at 7:05 p.m.
Home Plate Box Tickets for the game have been reserved for St. Thomas Aquinas employees, athletes, family and friends at $12.00 and can be purchased by contacting Jon Garvey at jgarvey@stac.edu .
Come out and support the Rockland Boulders and join in on the excitement at the new "Home of the Spartan Baseball Team".
