St. Thomas Aquinas baseball player Frank Salerno was named the ECC Player of the Week after guiding the Spartans to a 3-1 week.  Frank continued his outstanding season, batting .412 while scoring five runs and driving in seven. His highlight was a 4-for-5 showing with three runs and two RBI in a 13-6 conference win at Bridgeport. He also drove in three runs in STAC's 17-2 victory at Molloy.

He continues to lead all regular starters with a .367 batting average and has stolen 19 bases in 27 games this season.
