The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team lost at Adelphi, 4-0 in today's non-conference game. Andrew Ahn picked up his third hit in two games but the Spartans struggle to score a run.
Matt Smith, George Wargo and Ryan Spicer each had a hit for STAC. Chris Weidlein had 3 hits, 1 run and an RBI for the Panthers. Matt Marotta picked up the loss going 3.1 innings for STAC, giving up three runs and striking out one. Jared Randazzo, Joe Ferrara and Tom Enright faced a combined fifteen batters giving up three hits, no runs and each struck out one.
The Spartans will travel back to Adelphi tomorrow for a double header starting at 11:00 am.
