Baseball Pasta Dinner Postponed Due to Weather

The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball Pasta Dinner is postponed to a date yet to be determined.  The baseball team is hosting it's 1st Pasta Dinner in which Donavan Mitchell will be a guest speaker and former Spartan Mike Sharpe will be inducted into the Spartan Baseball Hall of Fame.

Mitchell worked for 18 years as a minor league player, coach and manager with both the NY Mets & Houston Astros organizations.

Sharpe played for STAC from 2002-2005.  In 600 ABs (metal) the 4 yr starter had a .365 avg, collected over 200 hits, 35 doubles, 13 HRs, 140 RBIs, 50 SBs, 100 walks (struckout only 60 times), 3X All-Conference and played a superb centerfield.  He was a member of the 1st DII team at STAC and was a key player in the 2003 team which made it to the conference championship game.  After graduation he was selected in the 35th round of the MLB draft by the NY Mets.
