The St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team scored two runs in the fifth inning to beat CW Post.  Pitcher Tyler Savin pitched all but the final out striking out four batters and scattering six hits earning the win.  Joe Antenucci singled to left field to score the first run for the Spartans.  Matt Marotta also singled and later scored on an error. 

Junior Dave Schwartz faced the final batter who grounded out to end the game and pick up the save.  The Spartans move to 8-8 in the conference and will face Mercy tomorrow at 3:00 before the host Dowling on Saturday for a double header.  Saturday's games will be played at Rockland Community College.
