After losing the first game of a DH at Dowling College
3-2, the Spartans rebounded to take game two 7-5.
Jonathan Della Monica picked up the win in game two going 3
innings in relief. He struck out 4 and allowed only one hit.
The Spartans took a 4-0 lead only to see Dowling score 5 runs
in the 5th to erase the lead. STAC immediately responded
in the 6th with a lead-off triple from Kevin Connors
which was followed by an RBI single from Dan McDermott, tieing the
score at 5-5. Five batters later, John Mazzello hit a two
strike, bases-loaded, 2-RBI single to put STAC up 7-5.
