John Mazzello hit a 2-run homer in the 1st inning to give STAC
a 2-1 lead and Anthony Russo made the lead hold, pitching 8 innings
allowing only 3 hits and no earned runs in a 7-1 ECC victory over
Concordia. The Spartans continued their hot-hitting getting 12 hits
in their 8 frames.
Joe Giustino, Pat Murray, and Dan McDermott had two hits each.
Ferando Peralta, Vin Malzahn, Kevin Ryan, and Mike Triana had
RBIs.
The Spartans improve to 8-7 in the East Coast Conference and
17-17 overall.
