St. Thomas collected 11 hits and stoled 7 bases enroute to a 7-3 ECC win over the University of Bridgeport. The Spartans scored in the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th innings and never relinquished the lead.

Freshman Mike Aviles picked up his second conference win in as many starts. The righthander went 7 innings and scattered 8 hits and walked none. Freshman Chris Schoepe picked up the save working a scoreless 8th and 9th.

Mike Triana, John Mazzello, Dan McDermott, and Fernando Peralta had two hits each. Peralta had 2 RBIs and McDermott had 3 RBIs. Triana and Kevin Connors both scored twice.
