Sara Oliveira and Mike Abelard were named Spartan Athletes of the Month for December.
Mike Abelard, Men's Track & Field:
Abelard ran a 6.86 time in the 60 meter to finish first and finished second in the 200 meter with a time of 22.23 at the Yale Season Opener during the month of December. The Senior Sprinter and team captain has provisionally qualified for the NCAA National Championships and has the 8th fastest time in Division II.
