Cross Country Wraps Up 2025 Season At NCAA Division II East Regional

Hopkinton, N.H. - On Saturday, the St. Thomas Aquinas Cross Country program closed out its 2025 schedule, competing in the NCAA Division II East Region Championships, which were hosted by Franklin Pierce University at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in New Hampshire. The STAC women's and men's teams both finished 15th in their respective 6K and 10K races.

Gianna Mauri was the top STAC women's finisher on the day with a time of 26:54.6, finishing 86th in a field of 116 runners in the women's 6K. Following Mauri in order of finish were: Kristen Kennedy (27:15.2), Sophonie Michel (27:37.7), Ciara Doyle (28:39.9), Abigail Dauterman (30:29.2) and Leilaah Gomez (42:08.9).

Meanwhile, Ronaldo Rodriguez Perez was the top Spartan men's finisher on the afternoon with a time of 35:48.6, placing 77th in a field of 112 runners in the men's 10K. Following Rodriguez Perez in order of finish were: Pedro Mulero Martinez (35:58.1), William Whitton (36.33.8), Kyle Koenig (38:21.2), Colin Graham (39:56.5), Jude Petersen (42:54.9) and Ian Forsyth (47:05.0).
