For the second time this season, Ronaldo Rodriguez Perez has been named the East Coast Conference Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, as announced on Tuesday following the Spartans latest race, Caldwell University Cougar Chase Invite which took place last Friday at the Garret Mountain Reservation in Woodland Park, New Jersey.
Rodriguez Perez (Monroe, N.Y.) was the top Spartan finisher, placing second overall in the men's 8k race with a time of 29:45.9, while also helping his team win the event.
The Spartans next compete at the Lehigh University Paul Short Run, which will be held on Friday, October 3 at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
