Sparkill, N.Y. - Despite taking the second set of Sunday morning's match, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Volleyball team dropped a 3-1 East Coast Conference decision to Roberts Wesleyan University at the Spartan Athletic Complex in Rockland County.

STAC slips to 5-16 overall and 1-7 in ECC action, while Molloy moves to 3-21 and 3-5.

How it Happened

• As a team, St. Thomas Aquinas recorded 55 kills compared to Roberts Wesleyan's 47. The Spartans also had 4 blocks and 53 assists, while the Redhawks tallied 8 blocks and 44 assists.
• Roberts Wesleyan outhit STAC by a .195 to .148 margin for the match.
• Adriana Zarceno paced the Spartans offense with a match-high 23 kills. She also registered a serve assist, 15 digs and two block assists.
• Anna Gazzerro tallied a match-high 47 serve assists (11.75 assists/set). Gazzerro also accumulated a service ace and 11 digs for the maroon and gold.
• Laura Rojas Gomez picked up 16 kills, two digs and a block assist on Sunday morning.
• Kamila Zoe Rosa racked up six kills and a service ace, two digs and two block assists against the Redhawks.
