Sparkill, N.Y. - Playing in their 2025 home finale, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Volleyball team suffered a straight sets sweep at the hands of Molloy University on Wednesday evening at the Spartan Athletic Complex.
STAC falls to 5-19 overall and 1-10 in ECC play, while Molloy improves to 17-7 and 10-1.
Prior to the contest, the Spartans honored their graduating senior class; Kaylin Hamilton and Anna Gazzerro with on-court ceremonies, which included the athletes' families, friends, teammates, coaches and college administrators.

How it Happened
- As a team, Molloy recorded 27 kills compared to St. Thomas Aquinas' 22. The Lions also had 9 blocks and 26 assists, while the Spartans tallied 2 blocks and 21 assists.
- Molloy outhit STAC by a .219 to -.022 margin for the match.
- Adriana Zarceno paced the Spartans offense with a team-high six kills. She also registered a serve assist and 11 digs.
- Anna Gazzerro tallied a match-high 18 serve assists (6.0 assists/set). Gazzerro also accumulated three kills, a service ace, two digs and a block assist for the maroon and gold.
- Christianna Roberts picked up four kills, two digs and block assist on Wednesday evening.
- Dahiana Garcia Atuesta racked up three kills against the Lions.
- Natassia Romanoff contributed two kills and two digs.
- Kamila Zoe Rosa accumulated two kills and a solo block.
- India Newman put together a one kill effort for the Spartans, with teammate Laura Rojas Gomez adding a kill, serve assist and dig of her own to the stat sheet.
- Emma Carolan (5), Addison Miller (4) and Boglarka Kiss (4) combined for 13 digs in the match.
