Sparkill, N.Y. - Closing out its weekend home series with Buffalo-area teams on Sunday, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Volleyball team rallied for a thrilling 3-2, five-set victory over D'Youville University at the Spartan Athletic Complex.
STAC moves to 4-12 overall and 1-3 in ECC action, while D'Youville slips to 4-12 and 1-4.
The Spartans went the distance for a second-straight day, as D'Youville took the first two sets to put STAC on the ropes. However, the hosts from the Lower Hudson Valley battled back for a reverse sweep by taking sets three through five to clinch the match.

- As a team, St. Thomas Aquinas recorded 59 kills compared to D'Youville's 55. The Spartans also had 7 blocks and 55 assists, while the Saints tallied 13 blocks and 51 assists.
- STAC outhit D'Youville by a .212 to .146 margin for the match.
- Adriana Zarceno paced the Spartans offense with a match-high 24 kills. She also registered nine digs.
- Anna Gazzerro tallied a match-high 47 serve assists (9.4 assists/set). Gazzerro also accumulated a kill, 10 digs and a block assist for the maroon and gold.
- Laura Rojas Gomez picked up 11 kills, a serve assist, two service aces, two digs, a solo block and a block assist in the match.
- Natassia Romanoff racked up 13 kills, two digs and a block assist on the afternoon
- Kamila Zoe Rosa accumulated six kills, a service ace, two solo blocks and two block assists against the Saints.
- Christianna Roberts put together a four kill, one serve assist, one solo block and one block assist effort on Sunday.
- Boglarka Kiss and Emma Carolan contributed a match-high 17 digs apiece, with Kiss also picking up five serve assists and four service aces while Carolan earned a serve assist and a service ace.
