Sparkill, N.Y. - On Wednesday the Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its latest Men's and Women's National polls, with both St. Thomas Aquinas College programs re-entering the top 50 among Division II teams.
On the men's side, the Spartans reappear in the #38 position in this week's national rankings as they continue to be red-hot, rattling off 11 straight wins to remain perfect on the season (11-0). STAC holds victories over West Chester, St. Michael's, Division I Fairleigh Dickinson, Adelphi, Manhattanville, Dallas Baptist, Carthage, St. Mary's (Tex.), Washington (Mo.), Yeshiva and Queens.
Meanwhile, the Lady Spartans come back into the poll at #46 in the nation, and hold a 13-2 overall record with regular season victories over New Haven, D'Youville, Daemen, Queens, West Chester, Molloy, Dominican, District of Columbia, Carthage, Slippery Rock and Adelphi. St. Thomas Aquinas College captured its first-ever ECC Tournament crown with victories over Daemen and Queens last fall. The team's only blemishes come via Dallas Baptist and St. Mary's (Tex.).
