Women's Tennis Drops Tennis Match to Adelphi, 7 - 2

The Lady Spartan tennis team dropped a 7 - 2 decision to ECC foe Adelphi University on Monday.

The 2 bright spots for Coach Vincent Ceci were the play of his #1 singles player, Caroline Gizzi, and his # 1 doubles team,  Gizzi and Allison Reeg. Gizzi won her match with an 8 - 1 victory over Adelphi's Melissa Pachayan while Gizzi and Reeg topped the Panthers #1 doubles team of Kutner and Moore by the score of 8 - 4. The loss brings the women's record to 1 - 5 on the season.

Coach Ceci's team returns to action today when they host Concordia at 3:00pm
