Rochester, N.Y. - Battling for every possible point across 21 events on Thursday, the St Thomas Aquinas College Men's Track and Field team dethroned three-time defending champion Roberts Wesleyan University by single point to capture the program's sixth East Coast Conference Outdoor title in program history, and first crown since 2022. The final tally in Western New York had the Spartans beating the Redhawks by the score of 195 to 194.
The STAC Women's Track & Field squad also competed in the conference championship event, placing eighth on the day.
Select Spartan Track & Field athletes will head to the Army West Point Twilight on Thursday, May 7 to try and better their times and measurements in order to impress the decision makers on the NCAA Division II Outdoor Committee enough to receive a bid to the National Championships, which take place May 21-23 in Emporia, Kansas.
