St. Thomas Aquinas College's Emmanuel Mena Jimenez was named the East Coast Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday following the Spartans most recent event, The College of New Jersey 2025 Invitational last Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Mena Jimenez (West Haverstraw, N.Y.) won two events at The College of New Jersey 2025 Invitational, taking individual victories in the discus field of 26 with a throw of 51.94m (150’ 5”) and the hammer throw field of 24 with a toss of 62.75m (205' 10”), which ranks fifth in NCAA Division II. Both marks are tops within the ECC and continue to set NCAA Division II Provisional standards. The STAC graduate student also placed fourth in the shot put field of 26 with a hurl of 14.43m (47' 4.25").
