St. Thomas Aquinas College Outdoor Men's Track & Field star Emmanuel Mena-Jimenez has qualified to compete in the NCAA Division II National Championships, which will be hosted by Colorado State University-Pueblo and held at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl on May 25-27.

Mena-Jimenez (So/West Haverstraw, N.Y.) will be making his first appearance at Division II National Championships, competing in the Discus, where he finished 18th in the country with a throw of 52.89m (173'6"). Mena-Jimenez placed first in the East Region in the event and hit his provisional mark of 52.89m back in early April at The College of New Jersey Invitational.
