St. Thomas Aquinas College's Emmanuel Mena Jimenez was named the East Coast Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, for the third time this season on Monday, after the Spartans took competed in the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet.

Mena Jimenez (West Haverstraw, N.Y.) took a second place finish in the Discus with a throw of 51.13 meters, which also set an NCAA DII Provisional Mark. He also finished third in the hammer throw with a toss of 53.68 meters.

STAC next competes at the prestigious Penn Relays on April 27-29 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pa.
