St. Thomas Aquinas College's Emmanuel Mena Jimenez was named the East Coast Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, for the second consecutive week on Monday, after the Spartans took competed in The College of New Jersey Invitational last Friday and Saturday.

Mena Jimenez (West Haverstraw, N.Y.) took victory in the hammer throw event at the TCNJ Invitational with a toss of 53.18m. He also set a new NCAA DII Championship Provisional Mark and a new school record in the discus with a throw of 52.89m, which earned him a second-place finish.

STAC next competes in the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet on Friday, April 21 (10:00 a.m.) at Gregory-Douds Field at Eiler-Martin Stadium in East Stroudsburg, Pa.
