Personal Bests Recorded at Terrier Invitational

The St. Thomas Aquinas Track & Field team competed at the BU Terrier Invite where they logged a number of outstanding performances.  Freshman Camille Cameron broke the school record in the 200m where she ran 25.29 and finished 25th out of 158 runners.

Cameron also ran the 400m where she ran 58.87, a new season best.  Amber Lubaszka ran a new personal best in the 500m with a time of 1:21.94.  Rebecca MacLeod ran a season best in the 800m where she ran 2:26.85.  Kristen Borriello opened up the season in the Mile by running 5:21.02.  The women's DMR team of Aida Torpey, Lubaszka, MacLeod, and Borriello ran season best in a time of 12:50.88.

On the men's side, Winslow Dorsainvil ran 6.86 in the 60 meters to take second overall and 1st among all the collegiate athletes in the event. Dorsainvil also ran the 200m in a time of 22.84.  St. Jacob Diodonet bettered his time in the 200 this week when he ran 21.87.  The men's 4x4 team of Lugduni Desrosiers, Frankie Schiavone, Mich Philistin and Diodonet ran a new school record time of 3:19.51 and finished 9th overall and top Division II time at the Terrier Invite.  Rickssen Opont threw 14.98m to finish 8th overall and top Division II thrower in the shot put at the Terrier Invite.  Tristan Holmgren finished 9th overall in the high jump when he jumped 1.95m and was the top Division II Jumper at the Terrier Invite as well.

The team will be back in action at the Armory Collegiate Invite next week.
