Lorne Marcus, Head Track & Field Coach and Assistant Athletic Director, was named to the NCAA Division II Track & Field and Cross Country Committee earlier this week. Lorne will be one of eight members of the committee, representing the East Region for the NCAA.   

Marcus, was also promoted this fall within the USTFCCCA to Secretary of the Executive Committee for Division II Track & Field. He has served on the committee for the past 5 years as the East Coast Conference Representative for the sport.

In addition, Lorne was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics for Game Operations and SAAC at St. Thomas Aquinas College beginning this past July 1st.

Lorne Marcus has been a part of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Track & Field program for the past 8 years, in which he has served as an Assistant Coach for 2 years, before moving to the role of Head Coach for the past 6 years.
