In the first USTFCCCA Indoor Track & Field East Regional Poll, both Spartan squads are ranked 10th. The women are led by their topped ranked DMR team in the region while Winslow Dorsainvil holds the top spot in the 60m.
The Lady Spartans 1st place DMR team is made up of
Allison Borriello, Rebecca Fortoul, Gabriela Sloezen, and
Kristen Borriello. STAC also holds the place spot in the
region in the same event with the team of K. Borriello, Sloezen, A.
Borriello and Meaghan Ventarola. Junior Sloezen is ranked 5th
in the region in the 800 with a time of 2:21.14. Freshman K.
Borriello is ranked 7th in the region with a time of 5:15.71 in the
mile.
Dorsainvil is also ranked 6th in the region in the 200 with a
time of 22.47. Freshman Mohammed Ifthikar is currently ranked
3rd in the region in the 60 meters with a time of 6.95
Sophomore Tristan Holmgren is currently ranked 6th in the
region in the Hj with a jump of 1.95m (6'4 1/2).
