In week 4 of the regional rankings, the Spartan men's team position did not change after an idle week due to the weather. The Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Championship originally scheduled for Saturday was cancelled following the snow.
Senior Mike Abelard is still ranked 2nd in the region in the 60m and 5th in the 200m. Junior George Erazo is also ranked 2nd in the region in the 400m. The men's DMR team of Garvenchy Nicolas, Erazo, Mike Kraus and Joe Chegwidden are ranked 4th in the East.
The women's track team is ranked 14th in the region this week. Keely Bateman is currently ranked 8th in the Region in the 800m and Meagan Jaskot is ranked 8th in the region in the 3000m. The Women's DMR of Bateman, Gabriela Sloezen, Rebecca Fortoul, and Jaskot are ranked 2nd in the Region.
The Spartans will to return to action on Saturday at the Molloy College Invitational at St. Anthony's High School.
