Senior Mike Abelard has been named the Track Athlete of the Week while sophomore Ed Oswald was named Field Athlete of the Week by the East Coast Conference.

Abelard won the 200m at the Molloy College Invite with a time of 22.67. He also took 2nd in the 60m with a time of 6.90 in the finals. That is his second fastest time this year in the 60m where he is ranked 21st in the country with a time of 6.86.

Oswald hit new personal best this week in the Molloy Invite where he high jumped 1.85 meters to take 2nd place. He also long jumped a new personal best of 5.93 meters.

Gabriela Sloezen was put on the honor roll for this week for the ECC. Sloezen ran a new season best and indoor personal record in the 400m with a time a 1:01.22. Sloezen finished 4th overall in the competition at the Molloy Invite.
