Sophomores George Erazo and Keeley Bateman ran very solid races against the like of LSU,Mississippi State, and other Division I,II,and III competition. Erazo won his heat in a 49.15 which helped him 15th overall in the collegiate division in the 400m. Bateman ran 2:23.00 in the 800m.
The Spartans relay teams also competed at a very high level. On the men's side the 4x400m team of Frankie Colon, Erazo, Rich Ricca and Alex Andre ran their second fastest time of the season with a time of 3:27.64. On the women's side the 4x400m team of Catherine Sandkuhl, Bateman, Chelsea Klinger and Ashely Stokkeland ran there second fastest time of the season of 4:16.76.
The Spartans return to action on Saturday at the CTC Championships in Middleton, CT at Wesleyan College.
