After the Week One Indoor Track & Field Rankings came out St. Thomas Aquinas freshman Mike Abelard and senior Chris Muniz were among the top in the country.  Abelard is currently ranked 12th in the nation in the 200m Dash with a time of 21.85 while Muniz is 13th in the 400m Dash after clocking a time of 49.01.

Both runners are also ranked regionally in those events with Abelard ranked #2 in the region and Muniz is 5th regionally.  Abelard is also ranked 5th in the region in the 55m Dash with a time of 6.95.  Muniz is among the top in the region in the 200m Dash as he ranks 6th and 22nd Nationally with a time of 22.08.

The St. Thomas Aquinas runners are also ranked 6th in the East region in the 4 x 400m Relay as Abelard, Muniz, Rich Ricca and Vincent Modafferi clocked a 3:25.23.
